i've blogged on and off for a very long time. mostly, i tweet and stalk people on facebook (okay, not really). here are a few important facts about me:
- my job situation is in limbo right now. while i'm looking forward to being employed again soon, the time off has given me the opportunity to examine my life goals and figure out what graduate programs i'd like to pursue.
- i'm getting married in mid-July.
- my fiancee and i purchased a house recently. though i'd love to be employed right now, this season of unemployment has allowed me to work on the house.
- i live in Michigan.
- and i am a proud alumni of the University of Michigan.
- my fiancee and i are runners. we met in college.
- furthermore, my fiancee is an Engineer.
- recently, i started dabbling in coding and programming.
- my style is simple, minimalistic and colorful. learning how to execute my style in my home!
- between my fiancee and i, we deal with the following food ailments: severe tree nut allergy, gluten intolerance, dairy intolerance and egg allergies. i am gluten/dairy intolerant and my fiancee has been dealing with severe allergies since he was a baby (most of his allergies are most likely genetic - his brother shares many of the same allergies). keeping our food sensitivities in mind while cooking has been a challenge in many ways, but i'm adjusting slowly. look for many posts about this topic!
